Description
Maximum time between receipt of a
telegram and subsequent reaction in
slave.
Nominal token rotation time: Projected
time interval for a master to receive a
token; results from the total of token
waiting times for all masters on the bus.
GAP update factor: Number of bus
circuits after which a search is
performed for an additional, newly
added, active station in the master GAP
(address range of own bus address up to
address of next active subscriber)
Maximum number of repeated callup
attempts by master, when it has not
received a valid reply from the slave.
Time between two bus cycles, during
which a slave can process a request
from the master (time base 100 µs); the
value entered here must coincide with
the settings in the slave GSD files.
Maximum time for requester (DP master
class 2) to pick up a reply from the
master during master-master
communication (time base 1 ms).
Time, during which the master for the
associated slave determines its operating
status; this is sent at intervals of 5 x
"Data Control Time"; simultaneously
the master monitors whether reference
data has been exchanged with the slave
at least once during this time.
