15) Install performance rod. 19) Connect harness connectors and hoses.
(1) Lower the vehicle .
Tightening torque : N"m (kg-m, ft-Ib)
(2) Connect the following harness connectors .
45 - 58 (4 .6 - 5.9, 33 .2 - 42 .8)
a Transmission harness connector
Transmission ground terminal connector
16) Install propeller shaft.
0 Vehicle speed sensor 2 connector
(1) Install propeller shaft into transmission .
0 0 Z sensor 1 fr 2 (RH £r LH) connector
(2) Tighten bolts and nut which install propeller shaft
(3) Connect the following hoses .
onto companion flange .
PCV valve hose
9 Blow-by hose
Tightening torque : N "m (kg-m, ft-Ib)
20) Install engine hook .
24 - 39 (2 .4 - 4.0, 17 - 29)
21) Install air intake system .
(1) Install air intake boot .
(2) Install throttle body cover.
(3) Install center bearing bracket on body .
22) Check ATF level, and correct if necessary.
Tightening torque : N " m (kg-m, ft-Ib)
Refer to C.1-4 .
23) Connect battery ground cable.
47 - 57 (4 .8 - 5.8, 35 - 42)
24) Move damper, and close front hood .
Refer to C .1-3.

25) Check selector lever operation.
17) Install exhaust system .
Refer to C.3-3.
(1) Install front exhaust cover .
26) Remove vehicle from lift arms .
(2) Install rear catalyst converter and front exhaust

(3) Install OZ sensor harness to clip .
