4. FLUID LEAKAGE
It is likely that although one judges fluid leakage, there is actually no leakage. This is because the fluid spilt during
the last maintenance was not completely wiped off. Be sure to wipe off spilt fluid thoroughly after maintenance.
Improper flare nut tightening, for- Loosen and tighten. If this does not
eign matter, damaged flare nut I correct problem, replace flare nut.
Leaks at pipe and hose connections /I Improper hose insertion or faulty
Retighten or replace clamp.

If replacement of O-ring or pipe and
hose does not correct problem, re-
place gearbox ASSY .
Replace with a new one .
Replace with a new one .

Replace with a new one .
Replace cap.
Replace oil pump ASSY .
Reduce to specified level .
Severe operation of vehicle may cause fluid to ooze out at air vent in cap. However, this is not a problem.
