9) Installation is in the reverse order of removal .

a. Install rear strut assembly with notch outside of
vehicle body .
b. Right side of strut ASSY has white paint mark and
left side yellow mark.

6) Support housing assembly using a garage jack .
Do not allow washer or strut mount to ride over
graded section of piston rod during installation .
7) Remove strut mount from body.
