A: BASIC TROUBLESHOOTING CHART
Turn ignition switch "ON".
Check if shift lever moves from "P" to any other po-
sition .

Check if shift lever moves from "P" to any other po-
sition while depressing brake pedal .

Move shift lever to "N" and turn ignition switch
"OFF" .
Check if ignition key can be removed from slot prop-
erly .

Check if ignition key can be removed with shift lever
moved to "P" .
