17. Remove the adhesive tape from the input shaft
splines.
18. Remove the bearing outer races and shims of the
differential and input shaft.
Locate the special tool in the recesses in
the housing.
19. Remove the output shaft bearing outer race with
the shim.
Locate the special tool in the recesses in
the housing.
NOTE: Only when damaged or leaking.
20.
Remove the reverse gear idler shaft.
21. NOTE: Only when damaged or leaking.
Remove the reverse gear idler shaft.
Drive it out using a block of hard wood.
