ospfv3 network-type { broadcast | nbma | p2mp [ unicast ] | p2p } [ instance

Default
The network type of an OSPFv3 interface depends on its link layer protocol. For example, if the link
layer protocol is Ethernet, the default network type is broadcast.

: Specifies the network type as P2MP.

: Specifies the P2MP interface to unicast OSPFv3 packets. By default, a P2MP interface

Usage guidelines
If a router on a broadcast network does not support multicast, configure the network type for the
connected interfaces as NBMA.
When the network type of an interface is NBMA or P2MP unicast, you must use the
to specify the neighbor.
When the network type of an interface is P2MP unicast, all OSPFv3 packets are unicast by the
interface.
