Description
Area ID.
In this state, neighbor initial state, the router has not received any information from a
neighboring router for a period of time.
This state is available only in an NBMA network. In this state, the OSPFv3 router has
not received any information from a neighbor for a period. The router can send Hello
packets at a longer interval to keep the neighbor relationship.
In this state, the device received a Hello packet from the neighbor but the packet
contains no router ID of the neighbor. Mutual communication is not setup.
Mutual communication between the router and its neighbor is available. DR/BDR
election is finished under this state (or higher).
In this state, the router decides on the initial DD sequence number and active/standby
relationship of the two parties.
In this state, the router exchanges DD packets with the neighbor.
In this state, the router sends LSRs to request the neighbor for needed LSAs.
LSDB synchronization has been accomplished between neighbors.
