5.5.2

Output Neutral Grounding

The output neutral terminals of the power source are NOT connected to earth ground but
rather floating. This allows the output of the power source to float with respect to ground.
Some loads will have their neutral input grounded, which will result in the power source
neutral being grounded through the load. Alternatively, the user may ground the output
neutral terminals himself by running a suitable wire size from one of the output neutral
terminals to the ground stud on the rear panel of the power source as shown in Figure 5-5.
Grounding the output neutral can help reduce common mode noise at the output of the
power source.

5.6 AC Input Circuit Breaker

This product is fitted with a mains input circuit breaker on the left hand side of the front
panel. The power off position of the circuit breaker handle is marked "O". The power on
position of the circuit breaker is marked "I".
