8.11 IEEE488.2 Common Commands

The following IEEE488.2 common commands (a.k.a. star commands) are supported by the
AC power source. These commands are provided for compatibility with the IEEE488.2
standard. They are aliases to the relevant proprietary command and can be used
interchangeably. Commands are shown in alphabetical order.

Clear Status. The Clear Status (CLS) command clears the status byte
by emptying the error queue and clearing all the event registers
including the Data Questionable Event Register, the Standard Event
Status Register, the Standard Operation Status Register and any
other registers that are summarized in the status byte.
*DCL
Device Clear. Resets the instrument to a default state.
