The new seal must be moistened with liquid detergent before installing to facilitate installation and
adjustment.
CAUTION
Danger of accident! At least two operators are
required to manually move the components of
the RHT roof, working slowly and in a
coordinated fashion.
Manually move the Front and Rear Roof shells
together toward the rear of the vehicle.
Lock the Front Roof shell kinematics in the safety
position, fitting the special rod
shown in the image aside.
Start installing the new seal (A) from one side. In
this photo, the procedure has been started
from the right-hand side.
Apply liquid detergent to the seal contact area
(A) with the Front Roof shell.
