CLI Commands

ppp timeout ncp

Use the ppp timeout ncp command to set the maximum time, in seconds, that PPP allows
for negotiation of a network layer protocol. If no network protocol is negotiated within the given
time, the connection is terminated. Use the no form of the command to disable the timeout
feature.
Syntax
[no] ppp timeout ncp seconds

To specify that PPP will allow 60 seconds for negotiation of a network protocol:
G450-001(super)# ppp timeout ncp 60
