CLI Commands

pppoe-client persistent max-attempts

Use the pppoe-client persistent max-attempts command to limit the number of
consecutive connection establishment retries. When the number is reached, the PPPoE client
stops trying to establish connections. To restart the connection attempts, use the shutdown
and no shutdown command sequence.
Use the no form of this command to restore the default value, which is that no limit is imposed
on the number of consecutive connection establishment retries. This means the PPPoE client
does not stop trying to establish connections.
