PARKING BRAKE CONTROL
Adjustment
Before adjusting control lever stroke, ensure the caliper park brake
leversare resting against their stops. If they are not, slackenthe cable
(using the adjuster) and then depress the brake pedal firmly before
carrying out the adjustment.

Adjust control lever by turning adjusting nut.
Pull control lever with specified amount of force. Check lever
stroke and ensure smooth operation.
Number of notches: 9-1 1
Bend parking brake warning lamp switchplate so that brake
warning lamp comes on when ratchet at parking brake lever
is pulled "A" notches and goes out when fully released.
