OIL PAN

Removal
1. Remove the following parts:
Front exhaust tube
Front side gusset
Center member
2. Remove oil pan bolts.

3. Remove oil pan.

Insert Tool between cylinder block and oil pan.
Do not drive seal cutter into oil pump or rear oil seal retainer
portion, or aluminum mating face will be damaged.
Do not insert screwdriver, or oil pan flange will be deformed.
(2) Slide Tool by tapping its side with a hammer, and remove oil
pan.
Installation
1. Before installing oil pan, remove all traces of liquid gasket
from mating surface using a scraper.
Also remove traces of liquid gasket from mating surface of
cylinder block.
2. Apply a continuous bead of liquid gasket to mating surface
of oil pan.
Use Genuine Liquid Gasket or equivalent.
