With fuel pump relay connected.
backprobe relay connector circuit AF64
with a test light to ground.

Backprobe relay connector circuit
Repair open circuit AF64 to relay connector.
A105 with testlight to earth.
Testlight should light. Does it?

Ignition "off" for 10 seconds.
Repair open in circuit A105.
Backprobe relay connector circuit
AF67 with testlight to earth.
observe testlight as ignition is
turned "on': It should light for 3
seconds. Then go out. Does it?
I
Ignition "off" for 10 seconds.
Backprobe relay connector circuit
AF66 with testlight to earth.
Observe testlight as ignition is
turned "on''. It should light for 3
seconds. Then go out. Does it?
Ignition "off".
Disconnect fuel pump relay and ECM connectors.
Check ckt AF67 for being open -or- shorted to earth.

be more than 75 ohms. Is it?
Replace relay.
If open circuit.

repair wire and

Repair short to
earth and retest
at step

If both circuits are ok.

With engine running, disconnect fuel pump relay.
Engine should continue to run. Does it?
