Checking Parking Brake
1. Pull lever with specified amount of force.
Check lever stroke and for smooth operation.

Checking Steering Gear and Linkage
STEERING GEAR
Check gear housing and boots for looseness, damage or
grease leakage.
Check connection with steering column for looseness.
STEERING LINKAGE
Check ball joint, dust cover and other component parts for
looseness, wear, damage or grease leakage.
Checking Power Steering System Fluid and
Lines
Check fluid level, when the fluid is cold.
Check lines for improper attachment, leaks, cracks, damage,
loose connections, chafing and deterioration.
