INSPECTION START

Check E.C.U. pin terminals for
damage or the connection of
E.C.U. harness connector.
CHECK GROUND CIRCUIT.
1) Turn ignition switch "OFF".
2) Disconnect E.C.U. harness
connector.

3) Check harness continuity be-

@and engine
ground.
Continuity should exist.
If N.G., repair harness or con-
nectors.

CHECK POWER SUPPLY.
1) Turn ignition switch "ON".
2) Check voltage between E.C.U.
terminals

Check the following:
Harness connectors
Harness continuity between
E.C.U. and E.C.C.S. relay
If N.G., repair harness or con-
nectors.
Voltage: ground. Battery

CHECK HARNESS CONTINUITY
BETWEEN E.C.C.S. RELAY AND
E.C.U.
1) Turn ignition switch "OFF".
2) Disconnect E.C.U. harness
connector.

4) Check harness continuity be-
tween E.C.U. terminals
