INSPECTION
Separator plates
Check to make sure that separator plate is free of damage and
not deformed and oil holes are clean.
Oil filter
Check to make sure that filter is not clogged or damaged.
Timing solenoid
Measure resistance

4-unit solenoid assembly (Line pressure solenoid, lock-up
solenoid and shift solenoids A and
B)
Check that filter is not clogged
or
damaged (line pressure
solenoid and lock-up solenoid).
Measure resistance of each solenoid

Fluid temperature sensor
Measure resistance
