C.C. P. Function: (not self-diagnostic item)
INSPECTION START
I
CHECK CONTROL FUNCTION.
1) Check voltage between E.C.U.
t e r m i n a l o a n d ground un-
der the following conditions.
Voltage:
At idle
Approximately O V
Engine speed Is about
2,000 rpm
Battery voltage
Warm up engine sufficiently to
ensure engine water temperature

CHECK VACUUM HOSE.
1) Check vacuum hose for clog-
ging, cracks and proper con-
nection.

Check E.C.U. pin terminals for
damage or the connection of
E.C.U. harness connector.

Repair harness or connectors.

1) Turn ignition switch "OFF".
2) Disconnect E.C.U. harness
connector.
3) Check harness continuity be-
tween E.C.U. t e r m i n a i m a n d
terminal

Continuity should exist.

the range 60-1 15'C.

Check the following:

1)
Stop engine.
2) Disconnect C.C.P. control so-
lenoid valve harness connec-
tor.
3) Turn ignition switch "ON".
4)
Check voltage between termi-
nal @ and ground.

Harness
and continuity
C.C.P. control
between
sole-
noid valve
If N.G., repair harness or con-
nectors.
Voltage: Battery voltage
