CHECK VACUUM HOSES.
Check the following vacuum hoses for
clogging, cracks and poor connection.
a) Vacuum hose between E.G.R. con-
trol valve and E.G.R. control sole-
noid valve.
b) Vacuum hose between E.G.R. control
solenoid valve and throttle chamber

Repair or replace.

c) Vacuum hose between E.G.R. control
solenoid valve and air duct.
CHECK FOR OIL LEAK TO COMBUS-
TION CHAMBER.
Remove spark plugs and check for
fouling with oil.
Check pistons, piston
rings, valves, valve seats,
valve oil seal, engine oil
level, etc.
