FX-SEPRT Lower sept claw engage/disengage setting
Lv.1 Details Setting to keep the lower separation pad disengaged (separated) in
the case that the trace of the fixing roller claw appears on the image.
Make the lower separation claw engaged (in contact) in the case of
jam due or separation failure of the fixing roller.
Use case - If there is trace of claw on the image
- In the case of jam due to separation failure
Adj/set/operate method 1) Enter the setting value, and then press OK key.
2) Turn OFF and then ON the main power supply.
Caution There should be no jam due to separation failure of the fixing roller
even when feeding the lowest grammage paper among the papers to
be used.
Keeping the claw disengaged (separated) can cause higher
frequency of jam when feeding thin paper.
Keeping the claw engaged (in contact) can create trace of the claw
on the image as the life of the separation pad advances (shorten the
life of the fixing roller).

0: Depending on paper grammage (separation claw to be engaged
up to 160 g/m2 for plain paper, 120 g/m2 for coated paper), 1:
Disengaged (separated), 2: Engaged (in contact)

FAN-TIME Fan operation time setting at shutdown
Lv.2 Details To set the duration of Fan operation at the time of shutdown
sequence (post heat exhaust mode).
The duration of operation varies according to the number of rotation
set by FAN-ROT.
When FAN-ROT = 0 (auto control), the duration is 60 minutes with
FAN-TIME = 0 or 1, 80 minutes with 2.
When FAN-ROT = 1 (full speed), the duration is 60 minutes with
FAN-TIME = 0, 40 minutes with 1, 80 minutes with 2.
When FAN-ROT = 2 (half speed), the duration is 80 minutes
regardless of FAN-TIME.
When FAN-TIME = 3, it is controlled to shorten the duration of Fan
operation until the main power switch is turned OFF according to the
time (T) from stop of printing to pressing the shutdown button.
Duration of operation when FAN-ROT = 0, 1, 2 is shown below.
When T=approx. 0 minutes, approx. 60 minutes, approx. 40 minutes,
approx. 80 minutes.
When T=approx. 20 minutes, approx. 42 minutes, approx. 35
minutes, approx. 57 minutes.
When T=approx. 40 minutes, approx. 23 minutes, approx. 19
minutes, approx. 31 minutes.
When T=approx. 60 minutes or longer, approx. 16 minutes, approx.
13 minutes, approx. 22 minutes.
Use case - To support noise complaint.

DK10REST Adj paper rest level in POD3 lower deck
Lv.1 Details Adjusting threshold for paper remaining level to be determined as "no
paper" in the lower deck of the (2nd/additional) secondary POD deck
2.
In the case that too many sheets of paper is remained in the deck,
increase the setting value so that more sheets of paper can be used
(almost to the limit).
1 increment of the value reduces the paper remaining level by 20
sheets (approx.).
Use case Upon request from the user
Caution Paper remaining level varies according to the air-floatation condition.
