Equal Cost Multi-Path (ECMP)

Equal cost multi-path (ECMP) supports multiple "best paths" in next-hop packet forwarding to a
destination device.

ecmp-group

Provides a mechanism to monitor traffic distribution on an ECMP link bundle. A system log is generated
when the standard deviation of traffic distribution on a member link exceeds a defined threshold.

Syntax
ecmp-group {ecmp-group-id interface interface | link-bundle-
monitor}
To remove the selected interface, use the ecmp-group no interface
command.
To disable link bundle monitoring, use the ecmp-group no link-bundle-
monitor command.

Equal Cost Multi-Path (ECMP)
Enter the identifier number for the ECMP group. The range is
from 2 to 64.
Enter the following keywords and slot/port to add the
interface to the ECMP group:
For a 10-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword
TenGigabitEthernet then the slot/port information.
For a 40-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword
fortyGigE then the slot/port information.
For a LAG interface, enter the keywords port-channel
then the slot/port information. The range is from 1 to 512.
