unconfigure netlogin mac auth-retry-count
unconfigure netlogin mac auth-retry-count
Description
Returns the reauthentication retry count to the default value of 3.
Syntax Description
This command has no arguments or variables.
Default
The default number of retries is three.
Usage Guidelines
When a new MAC address is detected on a port enabled for MAC-based network login, an
authentication message (RADIUS Access-Request message) is sent from the RADIUS client to the
RADIUS server for validation. By default, the RADIUS client tries again a maximum of three times if
the validation request fails. After the third retry, the authentication attempt times out. This command
returns the retry count to its default value.
To set the authentication retry count to a number besides 3, use the following command
configure netlogin mac auth-retry-count
Example
The following command sets the retry count to its default value:
unconfigure netlogin mac auth-retry-count
