configure wireless port mode

configure wireless ports [<portlist> | all] mode [ExtremeWare| SummitWM]
Description
Specifies the mode in which an Altitude 300 Access Point should boot and function.
Syntax Description
portlist
Specifies one or more ports or slots and ports. Can be one or more port numbers. May be
in the form 1, 2, 1:2, 3-5, 2:*, 2:5, 2:6-2:8.
all
Specifies all ports.
ExtremeWare
Specifies that the Altitude 300 AP should run the ExtremeWare AP software image.
A350
Specifies that the Altitude 300 AP should run the SummitWM AP software image.
Default
By default, ExtremeWare mode is set for all wireless ports.
Usage Guidelines
Use this command to change the mode for the specified Altitude 300 AP. When the mode is changed,
you should configure the corresponding runtime image using the
image-configuration runtime
If the mode is set to SummitWM, you need a SummitWM-series switch for managing the AP.
Use the
show wireless ports configuration
Example
The following example changes the mode of wireless port 1:4 to SummitWM:
configure wireless ports 1:14 mode SummitWM
The following example changes the mode of wireless port 1:4 to ExtremeWare:
configure wireless ports 1:14 mode ExtremeWare

This command was first available in ExtremeWare 7.6.
Platform Availability
This command is available on the Summit 300-48, Summit 300-24, Summit 400-24p, and Alpine
switches.
