configure stpd ports link-type edge bpdu-filter enable

configure stpd <spanning tree name> ports link-type edge <port number>
bpdu-filter enable
Description
Enables BPDU filter on the specified edge port for the specified STPD.
Syntax Description
spanning tree name
Specifies an STPD name on the switch.
portlist
Specifies one or more ports or slots and ports. On a modular switch, can be a list of
slots and ports. On a stand-alone switch, can be one or more port numbers. May be in
the form 1, 2, 3-5, 2:*, 2:5, 2:6-2:8.
Default
Disabled.
Usage Guidelines
This command applies only to ports that have already been configured as edge ports.
Enabling STP BPDU filter on edge port allows you to discard the STP BPDUs, if STP is disabled or
enabled on the port so that the port will remain in 'Forwarding' state. STP domain must be in enabled
state but STP can be enabled or disabled on the edge port.
Example
The following command enables STP BPDU filter on edge port 4 in STPD s1 on a stand-alone switch:
configure stpd s1 ports link-type edge 4 bpdu-filter enable
The following command enables STP BPDU filter on slot 2, edge port 1 in STPD s1 on a modular switch:
configure stpd s1 ports link-type edge 2:1 bpdu-filter enable
