show stacking
Description
This command displays information from the stacking database.
Syntax Description
This command has no options or parameters.

Usage Guidelines
Use this command to display the stacking configuration. The
the stacking database, including the platform type, MAC address, the enabled stacking ports, stack
manager status, stack priority, and the fallback IP address (if configured).
The output of the command is in two parts. The first part is common information; the second is
switch-specific information. The fields in the output represent:

Indicates whether the stack is connected in a ring or a non-ring (daisy-chain) mode.
The state of the slot:
• Init—Applies to member slots only. It indicates that the stack manager has learned of the
slot in a previous run, but has not be able to detect the slot in the current run.
• Master-RPC—Occurs when the stack manager has not completed initialization for the
member. The manager is attempting to obtain information from the member.
• Up-Master—The switch elected as stack manager is fully operational.
• Up-Slave—Member switches are operational and can be verified with the show slot
command.
Indicates whether stacking is enabled or disabled.
Indicates the stack number of the stack manager.
Indicates the total number of switches in the stack.
Indicates the local slot number.
Indicates that a user-configured request for a specific slot number exists.
Slot number of the next potential master.
Indicates whether the switch is active in the stack. If the switch is not yet part of the stack and
the manager has learned of the switch during a previous run, then the state of Disabled
displays until it is replaced by another switch.
Indicates whether the switch is the stack manager.
Indicates the MAC address of the switch.
