14.2 Functional Description

The following sub-sections describe the Kinetis Flashloader functionality.

14.2.1 Memory Maps

While executing, the Kinetis Flashloader uses RAM memory.

Run user application code that never returns control to

the flashloader

Fill a range of bytes in flash with a word pattern

Erase the entire flash array

Erase a range of sectors in flash

Write data to memory

Read data from memory

Attempt to unlock flash security using the backdoor

Get the current value of a property

Reset the chip

Attempt to modify a writable property
