INSPECTION PROCEDURE: P0222 and P0223

Inspect the intake throttle valve position sensor 2 connector

Was any failure found?
Connect securely, repair if needed.
Perform "After-inspection work" of INFOR-
MATION section.

Inspect the intake throttle valve position sensor 2

Was any failure found?
Clean the sensing unit and install it properly.
If damaged, replace the intake throttle valve
position sensor 2.
Perform "After-inspection work" of INFOR-
MATION section.
ENGINE (J05E)/TROUBLESHOOTING
1. Check the connection of the intake throttle valve position sensor 2
connector (looseness and poor contact).

1. Check the installation of the intake throttle valve position sensor 2.
2. Make sure there is no dirt, damage or clogging in the sensing unit
of the intake throttle valve position sensor 2.
