Step 2 - Storing the revolution counter setting with the FlexPendant
Use this procedure to store the revolution counter setting with the FlexPendant
(IRC5).

Action
At this point, it is recommended that the revolution counter values are
saved to a diskette.
CAUTION
If a revolution counter is incorrectly updated, it will cause incorrect
manipulator positioning, which in turn may cause damage or injury!
Check the calibration position very carefully after each update.

Action
On the ABB menu, tap Calibration.
All mechanical units connected to the system are shown with their calibration status.
Tap the mechanical unit in question.
A screen is displayed, tap Rev. Counters.

Tap Update Revolution Counters....
A dialog box is displayed warning that updating the revolution counters may change
programmed manipulator positions:
•
Tap Yes to update the revolution counters.
•
Tap No to cancel updating the revolution counters.
Tapping Yes displays the axis selection window.
