Exclude messages from a syslog facility.
<facility>
Specify one of the following syslog facilities to exclude messages from:
kern
user
mail
daemon
auth
syslog
lpr
news
uucp
cron
authpriv
ftp
msgtext
Exclude messages containing a certain text string.
<text-
A text string to match (maximum 128 characters). This is case sensitive, and must be the last
string>
text on the command line.
Default No log messages are excluded

Example To remove messages that contain the string "example of irrelevant message", use
the following commands:
