(5) Remove the E-ring [1] and gear [2].
Notes:
Before removing the gear, place a marking
so that it can be re-assembled at the same
position.
(6) Remove 1 screw and take off the mono/color
switching motor [1].
Notes:
Pay attention to the size (length) of the
screws. If incorrect ones are used, the motor
could be damaged.

(1) Remove the rear cover.

(2) Disconnect the 1 connector [1].
(3) Remove 2 screws and then take off the
paper feeding/developer unit drive motor [2].
