it is fed from the bypass tray?

Measure
Select [BACK] for the
paper type setting and
then copy the back side
of the paper.
Perform automatic
duplex copying with the
Automatic Duplexing
Unit (ADU).
If the ADU is not
available, select
[RECYCLED PAPER]
for the paper type
setting and then copy
the back side of the
paper.
If the problem is not
resolved, adjust the
transfer output for
recycled paper and then
copy the back side of
the paper by selecting
[RECYCLED PAPER].

Remark
This problem
may occur when
the paper is dry
under a low
humidity
environment.If
plain paper is
used, [BACK]
and bypass
feeding cannot
be selected
together. In this
case, use the
ADU or select
[RECYCLED
PAPER].
