(3) Release 2 latches and remove the gear
cover [1].
Notes:
When installing, align the idler gear shaft to
the hole of the gear holder.
(4) Disconnect the 1 connector [2] from the gear
cover.
(5) Peel off the kapton tape [1]. (45ppm/50ppm
models only)
Notes:
• When assembling, use a new piece of
kapton tape, since once removed, it is not
reusable.
• Attach the kapton tape along the angle of
the developer case.
