SUBJECT PRINT PRESSURE CAM
SYMPTOM:
A low density horizontal band may appear approximately 30mm from the lead edge.
CAUSE:
When printing at a speed of 100
or 120 pprn
(4th
or Sth step) the pressure roller k bound
when it contacts the
drum surface.

SOLUTION:
Replace the print pressure cam with P/N C2075560. This will apply print pressure to the pressure roller
5° (approximately 7mm) earlier in the drum rotation angle.

NOTE: Pedorm exit pawl timing adjustment (Pg, 5-77 of the Field Service Manual) as this modification

affects the exit pawl timing. This will prevent the exit pawl from contacting the master clampe~
