4. Master Eject Clamper Mechanism

When the drum has turned 230 degrees past the second drum position sensor activation
position,
the master
eject clamper
solenoid
[A] turns
on and turns
the lever [B]
counterclockwise.
This moves the cam [C] to the drum's side. After that, the clamper
sector gear [D] rides on the cam [C] and the gear [E] turns counterclockwise
opening
the master clamper [F] for master ejection.
When the drum turns 13 degrees
past the first drum position
sensor, the main motor
turns off. Then, after 0.5 second,
the drum references
the first drum position
sensor,
the master
eject
clamper
solenoid
[A] turns
off, and the spring
[G]
returns
the
opening
cam [C] to the normal position.
