9. DRUM SECTION
9.1 MAIN DRIVE BELT
TENSION ADJUSTMENT

Purpose: To ensure that correct main motor rotation is transmitted to the drum,
1. Remove the rear cover of the machine,
2. Apply a 1000-gram load using a tension gauge to the center of the main
drive belt [A], Make sure that the belt deflects 1,5 mm,
3, If incorrect, remove the drum unit and adjust the belt tension by moving the
tensioner shaft [B] after loosening the nut [C],
4. After adjustment, tighten the nut completely.
