3. Feed Roller Pressure Mechanism

The feed roller assembly rotates clockwise around it's shaft [B] due to the weight of as-
sembly.
The feed roller rotation is resisted by the feed roller pressure spring [C].
The force difference between the feed roller assembly weight and the pressure spring
force is applied to the paper as a feed roller pressure.
The feed roller pressure can be changed by moving the feed- pressure lever [D] up or
down as shown in the figure.
