12.2.9.10 netbios-node-type
Use this command to assign a NetBIOS node (server) type to DHCP clients.

Syntax Description
type
Command Syntax of the "no" Form
The "no" form of this command deletes the NetBIOS node type:
no netbios-node-type
Command Type
Router command.
Command Mode
Any DHCP configuration mode.
Command Defaults
None.
Example
This example shows how to specify hybrid as the NetBIOS node type for the "localpool" address
pool:
Matrix>Router1(config)#ip dhcp pool localpool
Matrix>Router1(config-dhcp-pool)#netbios-node type h-node
Configuring Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP)
Specifies the NetBIOS node type. Valid values and their
corresponding types are:
h-node — hybrid (recommended)
b-node — broadcast
p-node — peer-to-peer
m-mode — mixed
