the number is 1 (which means WAN1).
It means the number of PPP LCP MRU. The available range is from
1400 to 1600.

It means the number of MTU for PPP. The available range is from
1000 to 1500.
For Static IP/DHCP, the maximum number will be 1500.
For PPPoE, the maximum number will be 1492.
For PPTP/L2TP, the maximum number will be 1460.
