Define the same VLAN mapping rules on Switch B. The detailed configuration
procedure is similar to that of Switch A and thus is omitted here.
1.6.4 Configuring Traffic Mirroring and Redirecting Traffic to a Port
I. Network Requirements
A company uses a switch to interconnect all the departments. As shown in
The marketing department is connected to Ethernet 1/0/1 of the switch. The IP
address segment for the hosts of the marketing department is 192.168.1.0/25, and
the hosts access the Internet through the switch.
The R&D department is connected to Ethernet 1/0/2 of the switch. The IP address
segment for the hosts of the R&D department is 192.168.2.0/25, and the hosts
access the Internet through the switch.
The data monitoring device is connected to Ethernet 1/0/3 of the switch.
Configure traffic redirecting and traffic mirroring to satisfy the following requirements:
From 8:00 to 18:00 in working days, mirror the HTTP traffic from the marketing
department to the Internet to the data monitoring device.
From 8:00 to 18:00 in working days, redirect the HTTP traffic from the R&D
department to the Internet to the data monitoring device.
On the data monitoring device, the network administrator can analyze the HTTP traffic
from each department to the Internet.
