Setting Downlink Parameters
Channel Power measurement. (See
"How to make power measurements on PRACH preambles." on page
23.)
Once the random access procedure has been initiated with Call Limit set to "ON", the Test Set will appear to
be "hung" indefinitely. You must end the call to terminate the procedure and return the Call Status to "IDLE".
(See
"End a Connection" on page 553
or
"CALL:END" on page
261.)
Call Limit must be OFF for any random access procedure, such as Location Update or BS Origination to be
successful.

Signaling Radio Bearer Configuration

The signaling radio bearer (SRB) configuration can be set to either a 3.4k DCCH or a 13.6 DCCH. When the
3.4k DCCH configuration is used, the downlink DPCH channelization code to be used during the "Setup"
phase of establishing a connection can be specified. See
"CALL[:CELL]:SRBearer:CCHannel:DEDicated:BPS3400[:CCODe]" on page
291. When the 13.6 DCCH
configuration is used, the channelization code is the same as that for the 12.2k RMC. See
"CALL:DPCHannel:RMC12:CCODe" on page
257.
