The frequency converter calibrates
the torque at every start-up,
compensating for a possible change
in motor temperature since last
start-up. This option is used to
update motor parameters:
Parameter 1-30 Stator
Resistance (Rs).
Parameter 1-33 Stator
Leakage Reactance (X1).
Parameter 1-34 Rotor
Leakage Reactance (X2).
Parameter 1-37 d-axis
Inductance (Ld).

Run an AMA to set the value
of this parameter. Edit the
value manually only when the
application requires a value
other than determined by
AMA.
Select the d-axis inductance
saturation point. The frequency
converter uses this value to
optimize the performance of SynRM
motors.
Select the value that matches the
point where the inductance equals
the mean value of
parameter 1-37 d-axis Inductance
(Ld) and parameter 1-44 d-axis
Inductance Sat. (LdSat), as
percentage of nominal current.

optimize the performance of IPM
motors.

point where the inductance equals
the average value of
parameter 1-38 q-axis Inductance
(Lq) and parameter 1-45 q-axis
Inductance Sat. (LqSat), as
percentage of nominal current.

Parameter 1-50 Motor Magneti-
sation at Zero Speed has no
effect when
parameter 1-10 Motor
Construction = [1] PM, non-
salient SPM.
Use this parameter along with
parameter 1-51 Min Speed Normal
Magnetising [RPM] to obtain a
different thermal load on the motor
when running at low speed.
Enter a value which is a percentage
of the rated magnetizing current. If
the setting is too low, the torque
on the motor shaft may be
reduced.
