D em ounting
1. Remove valve core to com pletely deflate tire. With tire
lying flat on floor, loosen beads from rim seats by
walking around on tire w ith heels at points close to rim.
With w ide side o f rim dow n, apply tire lubricant to top
bead. W ith stops tow ard rim, insert spoon ends o f two
tire irons about 10" apart. While standing on tire to hold
bead in gu tter, pull one to o l tow ard center o f rim (fig. 4).
2. H old one iron in position w ith foot and pull second iron
tow ard center o f rim . Progressively w ork bead o ff rim,
taking additional bites if necessary (fig. 5).
3. Stand assembly in vertical position. Lubricate second
bead. At to p o f assembly insert straight end o f tire iron
betw een bead and back flange o f rim at ab o u t a 45

degree angle (fig. ).
4. T urn iro n so th a t it is perpendicular to rim. Pry second
bead o ff (fig. 7).
Mounting
All tubeless tires will be m ounted as follows:

. Inspect rim to insure bead seats are clean and sm ooth.

Then place rim on floor w ith wide side dow n and
lubricate first bead o f tire and u pper bead seat o f rim

(fig. ).
2. Push first bead in to well o f rim and o n to rim as far as
possible. Using straight end o f tire iron and w ith stop
resting on rim flange, w ork rem aining section o f first
bead over rim (fig. 9).
3. Hold second bead in well by standing on tire. When
necessary, push section o f bead into rim well and anchor
w ith vise-grip pliers by pinching pliers on rim flange.
Using spoon end o f tire iron w ith stop tow ard riin, w ork
progressively around bead using small bites until bead
slips over flange o n to rim base. If necessary, insert second
tire iron and lubricate last

m ounting (fig. ).
4. Check valve to be certain th a t hex n u t a t th e valve base is
tight. Inflate tire to recom m ended operating pressure.
Check assembly for air leaks.
Mounting (w/Tire Machines)
1. Use present tire m achines or standard tire irons following
