Rear Mount Replacement (Fig. 27V)
1. Raise vehicle on hoist and support transm ission so as n o t
to interfere w ith support crossm em ber removal.
2. Remove bolts securing rear m o u n t to sup p o rt cross­
m em ber.
3. Remove support crossm em ber retaining bolts
und erb o d y cross rail and w ithdraw support from vehicle.
4. Remove bolts securing m ount to transm ission extension.
5. Install new rear m ount and torque bo lts to specifications.
6
. Position support crossm em ber to cross rail, install bolts
th e n loosely install crossm em ber-to-m ount retaining
bolts.
7. Remove support from
rem aining bolts to specifications an d lower vehicle on
hoist.
