CONTROLS
The controls are located in the in stru m en t panel, ju st to the
right o f the instrum ent cluster. In operation, three levers
co n tro l all heater operations (figs. 1 and 2).
HEAT Lever
When this lever is fully up, all incom ing air is diverted
around th e heater core. When fully dow n, all air is directed
through the core for m axim um heating. The lever may be
moved anyw here betw een to provide the desired o u tlet tem

When this lever is fully up, no air passes through the
system . Moving the lever dow n approxim ately halfw ay, opens
the air d o o r in th e air distributor assembly. Moving the lever
the rest o f the way dow n actuates the three speed (LOW-
MED-HI) blow er switch.
DEFR Lever
When this lever is fully u p , all incom ing air is directed to
the floor outlets.
Moving the lever dow n, directs increasing am ounts o f air to
the defroster o u tlets until at the full dow n position, all o f the
air is directed to the defroster outlets.
