H old choke valve com pletely open.
2.
With the therm ostatic coil rod disconnected from upper
lever, push dow nw ard on rod to end o f travel.
3.
With the rod in the fully dow nw ard position, b o tto m o f
rod should be even w ith the b o tto m o f slotted hole in
lever as shown.

To adjust, bend lever at point shown w ith screwdriver
end.

1.
H old choke valve com pletely closed by rotating choke
coil lever counterclockw ise.
2.
W ith the therm ostatic coil rod disconnected, w ith cover
rem oved, push dow nw ard on coil rod so th a t the rod
contacts bracket surface.
3.
The coil ro d m ust fit in choke lever n o tch , as shown.
4.
Bend choke coil rod at p o in t show n to adjust.
5.
Install choke coil spring cover.

. Insert coil rod in to choke coil lever slot and install
retaining clip.
7.
Make sure that the choke valve operates freely from the
full open to full closed position.
