BRAKE SYSTEM (Standard)
Connect the brake hoses to the caliper with the oil
Route the brake
bolts and new sealing washers, and tighten the oil
hoses properly
bolts.
(page 1-23).
TORQUE: 34 N·m (3.5 kgf·m, 25 lbf·ft)
Tighten the pad pin and install the pad pin plug.
TORQUE: 18 N·m (1.8 kgf·m, 13 lbf·ft)
Fill and bleed the lever and pedal brake hydraulic
systems (page 15-8 and 15-11).
REAR BRAKE CALIPER
DISASSEMBLY
Remove the rear wheel (page 14-14).
Drain the brake fluid from the pedal brake hydraulic
system (page 15-6).
Remove the brake pads (page 15-13).
Disconnect the brake hoses from the brake caliper
by removing the oil bolts and sealing washers.
Remove the two mounting bolts and brake caliper.
Remove the following:
– caliper bracket
– boots
– pad spring
