BEARING REPLACEMENT

STARTER DRIVE GEAR BEARING

Support the gear holder and press the starter drive
gear out of the bearing using the special tools.
TOOLS:
Pilot, 20 mm
Assembly collar
Press the bearing out of the gear holder using the
special tools.
TOOLS:
Driver
Attachment, 32 x 35 mm
Fork seal driver
Support the gear holder and press the bearing into
the holder using the special tools.
TOOLS:
Driver
Attachment, 37 x 40 mm
Pilot, 20 mm
Attachment, 20 mm I.D.
Support the bearing inner race with the special tool
Use the small I.D.
and press the starter drive gear into the bearing.

REVERSE SHIFTER SHAFT BEARING

Remove the starter drive gear.
Drive the reverse stopper shaft and collar out of the
gear holder.
TOOL:
Pin driver, 4 mm
