STARTER/REVERSE SYSTEM
2. Turn the ignition switch to "OFF."
Exchange power control relay 1 with the other

With the jumper wire ground, turn the ignition
switch to "ON."
Check for continuity between the Red and Black
wire terminals of the wire harness side reverse
resistor connector.
There should be continuity.
• If there is no continuity, check for open circuit
in Red and Black wires between power control
relay 1 and reverse resistor.

POWER CONTROL RELAY 2

1. Ground the White wire terminal of the control
module connector with a jumper wire.
Turn the ignition switch to "ON" and check that
power control relay 2 clicks.
• If the relay clicks, the relay coil is normal; go
to step 3.
• If the relay does not click, go to step 2.
2. Turn the ignition switch to "OFF."
Exchange power control relay 2 with a known-
